Pinwheels Put Up For Hancock County’s Abused And Neglected Children
(From Hancock County Job and Family Services)
With the assistance of CPSU, CASA, United Way & the Kindness Klub, 138 pinwheels were placed on the courthouse fence.
These pinwheels represent the 138 cases that were substantiated as abused, neglected or dependent in Hancock County in 2025, however this is a very small number of children helped by CPSU every year.
Hancock County Job and Family Services Director Randall Galbraith says we all need to do our part to help out.
Some of the kids in the Kindness Klub were participating for the 4th year in a row and they are all so very much appreciated.
Please consider wearing blue 4/8/2026 to support Child Abuse Awareness Day.
