Sheriff: Drugs, Guns Seized During Narcotics Investigations

On February 2, 2026, the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit conducted a narcotics investigation that resulted in the search of two residential properties in Wyandot County.

The first search was executed at 14391 State Highway 294, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. This is residence of Jeremy D. Clark and Kacy J. Swan. Detectives recovered several firearms and suspected methamphetamine. Reports from this search will be forwarded to the Wyandot County Prosecutor’s Office for review of felony charges, including possession of methamphetamine, having weapons while under disability, and tampering with evidence.

A search warrant was executed at 108 1/2 South Vance Street, Carey, Ohio, the residence of Alex and Michael Naeyaert. Detectives recovered a large amount of suspected methamphetamine, prescription pills, a handgun, currency, drug paraphernalia, scales, baggies, and other items associated with drug trafficking. Reports related to this search will be submitted to the Wyandot County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of felony charges including, trafficking in methamphetamine, aggravated possession of drugs, and having weapons while under disability.

The searches resulted in approximately 155 grams or approximately 1/2 pound of Methamphetamine seized.

Detectives also seized other suspected illegal narcotics that will be sent off for analysis for official results.

This investigation is ongoing and remains open.
