Red Cross In Need Of Blood Donations

The American Red Cross is in dire need of blood donors. That’s the message from north central Ohio chapter executive director Todd James.
James explained there is confusion on who’s allowed to donate.
James said that you can call and ask what criteria there is. He added that the screening before a donation can help alert you to any deficiencies you might have.
James said that there will be a 100-donor blood drive on August 16 from 12-6 p.m. at the Elks in Findlay. You can learn about blood drives in the area online at redcrossblood.org.
