Sheriff’s Office Taser Training

Our deputies are participating in TASER 10 training, led by certified instructor Deputy Brent Meyers, as part of our continued commitment to professionalism, safety, and accountability.

The new TASER 10 is a less-lethal tool designed to help deputies safely resolve high-risk situations while reducing the likelihood of injury to everyone involved, deputies and the public alike.

This training focuses on proper deployment, decision-making, and real-world scenarios to ensure the tool is used responsibly and effectively.

Ongoing training like this helps ensure our deputies are prepared, confident, and equipped with the most up-to-date tools and knowledge to serve Putnam County safely.
