State Representative Bill Reineke Announces State Senate Bid

4/9/19 – 5:12 A.M.

State Representative Bill Reineke is running for a State Senate seat next year. Reineke announced his candidacy Monday morning at the Fostoria Learning Center.

The 26th Senate District includes Seneca, Wyandot, Sandusky, Crawford, Marion, Morrow, and Union counties. David Burke currently serves as the State Senator for the district, but can’t run for re-election because of term limits.

Reineke says he has voted for smaller, more efficient government as a member of the Ohio House. He says that as a senator he would work on job development and finding more money for education.
