Suspect Leads Findlay Police Officers On Tuesday Night Chase, Captured Early Wednesday Morning

A Tuesday night car chase led to an early morning manhunt for an Arcadia man in Hancock County. The Findlay Police Department says officers responded to the report of an intoxicated man at the Circle K Store at 464 East Sandusky Street around 8 p.m. Investigators say 27-year-old Jesse Sleasman got into a car stolen from Wyandot County. As police approached him, he rammed two cruisers.

Other officers followed Sleasman into the southeast part of the county. He led authorities on a 15-minute chase before he had engine problems. Sleasman then got out of the car and ran off into a cornfield on Township Road 258 near County Road 7, east of Findlay in Biglick Township. He eluded officers.

Officers then caught Sleasman following another prsuit. He was arrested on unrelated warrants but there will be other charges after officers complete their investigation.
