Two Injured In Collision Near Findlay Airport

A collision between two pickup trucks in Findlay Wednesday sent two people to the hospital. The Findlay Police Department reports the crash happened on Lima Avenue near the Findlay Airport around 5:20 p.m.

53-year-old Michael Kizer Jr. of Bluffton was driving west when he slid on wet pavement and into the eastbound lane of traffic. Kizer’s truck hit another truck driven by 47-year-old Matthew Fische of Findlay. An 11-year-old passenger in Kizer’s truck broke her leg. Hanco Ambulance took Alana Kizer and Fische to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Police officers cited Kizer for failure to control.
