Two Injured In Crash Near Gilboa

A collision between two pickup trucks injured two people in Putnam County late Thursday afternoon. The Putnam County Sheriffs Office reports the crash happened at the intersection of Road 5 and Road I, northwest of Gilboa, just before 6 p.m.
Christopher Marshall of Ottawa was driving on Road I when he pulled into the path of a southbound pickup truck driven by Russell Lammers of Leipsic. Emergency responders had to use the jaws of life to get Marshall out of his truck. A medical helicopter took him to St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. An ambulance took Lammers to St. Ritas Medical Center in Lima.
