Findlay Native, Michael Hendershot Confirmed by Senate to Federal Judgeship

The U.S. Senate has confirmed Michael Hendershot to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Ohio. Hendershot, a native of Findlay, served as the Chief Deputy State Solicitor in the office of the Solicitor General of Ohio.

Hendershot was nominated in April by President Trump. He fills the seat left open when U.S. District Judge Patricia Gaughan took senior status.

Hendershot’s parents, Dr. Jack Hendershot and Candace, continue to live in Findlay.
