BGSU Launches COVID Vaccine Incentive Program
Bowling Green State University has launched an incentive program to encourage students and staff to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and to voluntarily report their vaccination status.
The incentive program includes prizes like Apple Macbooks and Airpods that will be distributed in weekly drawings and among the grand prizes is full tuition for up to four years.
Winners will be notified through their BGSU email and students and staff should on the lookout for an email from #VaxBGSU to see if they’ve won.
BGSU is not requiring its students, faculty or staff to get the COVID vaccination, however, it is strongly encouraging it.
BGSU is asking students and staff to voluntarily submit their vaccination status over the next several weeks.
“This will help us better understand vaccination rates in our community and navigate COVID-19 throughout the fall semester,” the university said.
#VaxBGSU: Your shot at prizes. 🎉 Our shot forward. ⏩#BGSU will be asking students, faculty & staff to voluntarily submit their vaccination status to help us understand vaccination rates in our community and navigate #COVID19 this fall.
