01/24/18 – 5:31 P.M.

A Findlay Native orchestrated an elaborate wine-heist from Goldman Sachs president David Solomon. The Weekly Standard reports that Findlay born Nickolas Meyer allegedly stole $1.2 million worth of wine. Meyer was working as Solomon’s personal assistant under the alias Nicolas De-Meyer at the time of the 2016 theft.

Meyer sold the rare vintage wine under another alias, Mark Miller, to an out of state dealer. He then traveled the world while being tracked by the FBI until his arrest in Los Angeles. He is being taken to the Southern District of New York by a federal marshal.
