Fire Department Puts Out Fire At Cooper Tire

Findlay fire crews responded to Cooper Tire a little after noon on Monday for a fire.

The fire department said the call came in at 12:07 p.m. Monday.

A fire had started in a machine that was mixing hot rubber, and smoke could be seen coming from the building.

Cooper Tire’s own personnel were fighting the fire when Findlay firefighters arrived.

Findlay crews put water on the fire and it was knocked down relatively quickly.
