Fishing without a license in Putnam County landed a woman in the Wood County jail over the summer. The State Department of Natural Resources says an officer noticed a woman fishing in the Ottawa Reservoir over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. When he asked for her ID he found she didnt have a fishing license, and that she also had an outstanding warrant from the Bowling Green Municipal Court.

The ODNR says the woman also failed to appear for her court date in Putnam County. The same officer escorted the woman to court, where she pleaded guilty and paid a $200 fine.
