The Hancock County Veterans Service Office launched their new HCVSO mobile app at the annual VetFest II 2026 event, held in downtown Findlay on June 13.

The organization developed the HCVSO app to help keep Hancock County’s veteran community engaged and informed 24/7. With the app, users will have easy access to a wide range of mobile-friendly Hancock County Veterans Service Office (HCVSO) content – from news and events to podcasts, videos and vital resiliency program updates.

“Our goal is for the HCVSO app to become the cornerstone of the comms that connect our veterans to the most current news and information about many resources the Hancock County Veterans Service Office provides,” said Nicole Jenkins, Executive Director/CVSO.

Created with local veterans as well as their families, care providers, and supporters in mind, the HCVSO app can also be set to provide notifications and alerts based on the user’s areas of interest.

“Having a dedicated HCVSO app available to our local veterans is something we’ve wanted to accomplish for some time. So, I’d like to recognize and thank the Hancock County Veterans Service Office’s internal team and the Hancock County Veterans Service Commission for working together and making it possible to bring our own, locally-focused mobile app to reality this summer,” said Toby Brown, Office Manager.

The official Hancock County Veterans Service Offices’ HCVSO app can be found at the Apple App Store, and Google Play Store.
