Housing Choice Voucher Deadline Approaching

The Hancock Metropolitan Housing Authority is closing its waiting list for the Housing Choice Voucher program this week. The deadline is Tuesday at 8 a.m. The agency won’t accept any more applications after that time.

The federally funded vouchers provide financial help with rent costs for qualifying applicants. Those eligible must fall below a specific income level, among other requirements.
