Ohio Lawmakers Propose Legislation To Regulate Immigration Enforcement
(ONN) – Some state lawmakers are working to regulate immigration enforcement in Ohio.
Ohio Democrats have proposed their own immigration enforcement legislation package.
It includes measures like prohibiting enforcement in churches, courthouses and schools.
Lawmakers say the bills and resolutions will protect Ohio families, safeguard due process, and ensure federal immigration officers are held accountable in the state.
Lawmakers say all measures will be officially introduced within the next couple of weeks.
