UPDATE: Sheriff’s Office Facebook Page Hacked
UPDATE: The sheriff’s office says it has regained control of its Facebook page, and detectives are investigating to see if it’s possible to determine who the hacker was.
(ONN) – Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn says the sheriff’s office Facebook page was hacked Tuesday night and posts referencing convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were made to the account.
One referenced Donald Trump, and another referenced former president George H.W. Bush and the Epstein files.
Another post referenced Epstein himself and the circumstances of his death.
Wasylyshyn said the posts are not legitimate and were the result of a hack, meaning the sheriff’s office did not make those posts.
