Ohioans To Decide Whether Requiring Photo ID To Vote Should Be In State Constitution

(ONN) – This November, Ohio voters will decide if a law requiring people to show a photo ID to vote becomes enshrined in the Ohio Constitution.

Ohioans will vote in November on a constitutional amendment requiring photo ID to vote.

State Republican lawmakers passed a ballot resolution late Wednesday night.

Ohio law already requires citizens to provide photo identification before voting thanks to a bill the lawmakers passed in 2022 and it took effect in 2023.
