Police Bust Counterfeit Money Ring In Ada, Suspect Arrested
A man is behind bars in connection with a counterfeit money ring in Ada.
The Ada Icon is reporting that police executed a search warrant at a North Main Street apartment and found about $50,000 in fake currency.
Police say they also found items believed to have been purchased with counterfeit money.
The tenant wasn’t there but he was later arrested.
Authorities say the execution of the search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation into the passing of fake money in the area.
