The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office has released its monthly activity report for June.

Operational Statistics – June 2026

  • Total Incidents Closed: 2289

  • Criminal Investigations: 106

  • Traffic Stops Conducted: 330

  • OVI/Reckless Operation Investigations: 34

  • Traffic Crashes Investigated: 62

  • Court Documents Served: 246

  • Arrest Warrants Executed: 44

  • Detective Bureau/METRICH Operations: Two drug search warrants.

  • Emergency Communications: 921 calls received through 9-1-1 services

 

Corrections Division:

– Average Daily Inmate Population: 95

– Total Book-ins: 140 (including both felony and misdemeanor classifications, male and female)

– Internal Incidents Managed: 134

– Meals Provided: 9,060
