Special Olympic Torch Relay Comes Through Findlay Today

The Special Olympics Torch Relay will make its way through Findlay against today. Members of local law enforcement agencies will escort the relay down Main Street starting at 3:30 p.m.

The event will start at the State Highway Patrol post on North Main Street, with stops at the University of Findlay, the Hancock County Courthouse, Findlay Fire Station 1, and the Kroger on Sixth Street. It then heads to the fairgrounds and then the Blanchard Valley Center on East Sandusky Street.

The torch relay is a free event that’s open to the public.

You’re asked to try and avoid the parade route if you’re driving in Findlay this afternoon.
