Suspect Arrested In Connection To Body Found In Hancock County

A suspect is in custody in connection to the discovery of a body along I-75 in southern Hancock County last week. The Detroit Free Press reports police have not publicly identified the suspect yet.

The State Highway Patrol identified the victim as 39-year-old David Carter Sr. of Melvindale, Michigan. The coroner ruled Carter was a homicide victim last week. Detroit media reports that investigators found some remains of Carter in the area of an apartment complex in Melvindale. Carter had been missing since September 30.
