MCPA Announces Its 2026/27 Mainstage and All Ages Seasons

Marathon Center for the Performing Arts (MCPA) has announced its 2026/2027 Mainstage and All Ages seasons, two lineups built to fill the community with live performance, from Broadway sensations to shows the whole family can share. MCPA’s season is generously sponsored by Ohio Logistics and Marathon Petroleum Corporation.
The Mainstage Series, sponsored by Blanchard Valley Health System and Bryce and Maryann Mannen, brings five productions to the stage. Straight No Chaser returns October 29 to launch its national holiday tour at MCPA, the band’s chosen first stop for a second year running. STOMP arrives November 21, back after a decade away with new routines and the same thunderous, foot-stomping spectacle. A Christmas Story: The Musical lands December 2, turning Ralphie’s quest for a Red Ryder BB gun into full holiday song and tap from the Tony-winning songwriters behind Dear Evan Hansen and The Greatest Showman. Legally Blonde: The Musical takes the stage May 13, a high-energy, feel-good night of pop anthems and big choreography. The season closes June 10 with Waitress, featuring a Grammy-winning score by Sara Bareilles.
The All Ages Series offers four shows built for families of every age, sponsored by The National Lime & Stone Company. The Little Mermen and The Princess Pals, the number one Disney tribute band, open the series October 10, 2026. Velveteen: A New Musical brings an enchanted retelling of a timeless tale December 11, 2026. The Three Little Pigs and Other Tales weaves three stories into one heartwarming adventure February 6, 2027. Erth’s Shark Dive closes the series April 20, 2027 at 6:30 PM with a brand-new shark cage dive experience.
“This is the heart of what we do: nights you remember, and shows that bring toddlers and grandparents into the same row, both walking out smiling,” said Heather J. Clow, MCPA’s President and CEO. “Whether it is Broadway’s best or a child’s first time in a theater seat, this season is built to connect our community across generations.”
The Mainstage and All Ages seasons are part of a full slate of programming at MCPA. The Youtheatre productions, Live @ Armes, the Wildcard concert series, and more are available now at MCPA.org.
Mainstage season tickets are available to MCPA members June 16 through June 19, with public sales beginning June 19. Single show tickets go on sale to members June 26 through July 6, with public sales beginning July 6.
Tickets are on sale for shows in the All Ages, Live @ Armes and Wildcard series now. Youtheatre productions will go on sale at a future date.
