Free Admission Days At Area Pools

(From Findlay Family YMCA)

Riverside Pool will offer another free admission day on Saturday, June 20! This one is courtesy of the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation’s Fun for All series.

To help ensure that everyone has a safe and fun time, here are some pool rules and policies to keep in mind:

  • During free admission days, for those who leave, their wristband will be cut whether the pool reaches attendance capacity or not. Reentry will also be free, but they will have to stand in line to reenter and will get another wristband.
  • The pool is cash only, including at the concession stand.
  • For safety reasons, no inflatables of any type are allowed. At the baby pool, non-inflatable floats are permitted but if the facility reaches capacity, we require that they not be used because crowds make it more difficult for lifeguards to see below the water’s surface. However, non-inflatable floats will be allowed during adult swim times, which occur during the last 15 minutes of every hour.
  • We have a new cooler rule: coolers are no longer allowed for safety reasons. They occupy too much pool deck space and the possibility of glass being brought into the facility also makes them unsafe. Families and individuals can still bring in their own food and drinks if they aren’t stored in glass or contain alcohol.
  • There is no smoking or vaping of any kind allowed within the facility.
