Funds Earmarked For Arlington’s Safety, Accessibility, And Connectivity Grant
(From Arlington Heart & Soul)
It is a BIG day for Arlington! The governor has signed the capital budget, in it is $255,000 earmarked for Arlington’s Safety, Accessibility, & Connectivity grant.
This grant is an example of the Heart & Soul process in action, the result of listening to the community’s voice, identifying what matters most, and connecting resources to move those ideas forward.
What is included?
- Paving of the walking path
- Connecting the current walking path with the school’s new path
- Historic Markers along the walking path
- Safety upgrades to bleachers
- Fencing along railroad tracks in the park
Through this grant we worked together in partnership with Representative Ty Matthews, Senator Rob McColley, Village of Arlington, Ohio, The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation, Williams Nonprofit Consulting, Home of Arlington Local School, and Arlington Homecoming Festival. We’re looking forward to sharing more about this project soon!
