Police: Man Arrested After Firing Gun During Argument

The Findlay Police Department says a man fired a gunshot into the ground during an argument outside a store.

It happened at around 11:30 Saturday morning behind Cigars-N-Stuff at 710 North Blanchard Street.

Police say Kyler Shoemaker was arguing with another individual when he fired one shot from a handgun into the ground.

No one was injured.

Police say Shoemaker fled the scene on foot and was later located and arrested.

He was charged with discharging a firearm within city limits and having a weapon under disability.

The gun was located a short distance away from where the incident occurred, according to police.
